I am taking care of a patient. First of all, Dr Gebhart diagnosed a very rare disease (less than 20.000) right way. Second of all, the patient is not tolerating blood pressure medicine well, and he is trying and trying. Carrie, the NP saw her right away when she developed a rash. Fourthly, Missy is ALWAYS very helpful on the phone.
Abysmal, while Dr Gebhart is a very good physician. The office staff is inept to say the least. Average wait time... average is 2 hours! And that's just to get into a room! Not to mention that they can not seem to remember when your office visit was planned. Said they can't schedule more than a couple of days in advanced. However, when I showed up with my son, they said his appointment was scheduled for a week from when I showed up. I asked them how could that be? Because I would have then scheduled it two weeks out from when I called! And thus reminded them that they said they could not possibly schedule that far in advance....ya, thier tone changed. Will be looking for another office if this happens again.
Dr Gebhart specializes in misleading patients to think that they have these outrageous and extremely rare medical conditions so they take their claws out of his back. Hypochondriacs ruin everything for everyone and this is one of those situations, but what do you expect as a family doctor who tells his patients that he "specializes" in mental health and treatment? This is what you advertise and this is what you get...
Cut rate care with a Nursing home style vibe. Office staff are incompetent and uncaring. Never get to see the Dr. always get stuck with a Nurse Practitioner who doesn't take the time to listen. They herd you in refill meds and herd you out like cattle. And this review was my first in office experience and he's not my Dr. He was my mother in laws! Stay away!!
