They gave me a car full of Cigar smell. Traveled 11 hours with that smell. When I asked them at the pickup location , they told me that was a cleaner smell which they use to clean interiors. Never been into this kind of situation. Still they did not offer any discount after that incident. What kind of an idiots would do that to a customer. Its just disgusting.
Poor service. Customer services rep at the counter could not find my reservation, even though I expressed that I was certain I had made a reservation. She stopped looking and called for the next customer. When I found my confirmation she miraculously found my confirmation, after I had waited in line again for 10 minutes. Then she told that I should have told her that my rental was unusual (I was dropping the car off at another Enterprise location). It seems that she should look for any reservations, “unusual” or not before giving up.
Everything was great, with the exception of no attendant at the counter in the airport. However someone was available outside at the car area. New clean car
If negative stars were an option, I would assign them. Penny at the counter is the rudest individual I have ever met in customer service. I had a reservation with Hertz, who tried to tack on frivolous, undisclosed charges. I didn't want to do business like that and decided to use a different company. There were multiple car rental counters, but I was told only 3 were currently taking walk up customers (Alamo, Enterprise, and another). I went the Enterprise counter because I've used their company multiple times before. I approached the counter and explained the situation I just walked away from. I explained what I needed and asked the gentleman if he could help. He began to help me, but was cut off by Penny, sitting in the neighboring chair at Alamo. She had her nose stuck in a book and didn't even look at me till I asked for her name. She cut him off by screaming at him "We aren't taking walk ups right now!" I asked why because there wasn't a sign posted stating that and I had just been told they were renting. The gentleman didn't have an answer and looked at Penny, who resumed reading her book without answering. I said it was ridiculous they didn't have a sign posted and asked for her name. She looked at me with an eye roll and said, "It's Penny", and resumed her book again. Using either of these companies will be the BIGGEST MISTAKE of your trip. I booked a car with Budget, on my phone, for a fraction of the cost and much friendlier service. Penny, single handedly, cost both Enterprise and Alamo the loss of a regular customer - and anyone that asks for my advice and recommendations.
Check-in process was quick, friendly, and efficient. I was given a very clean car that performed well. They even included a snow brush and ice scrapper. Good thing, it was needed! Return process was even quicker. All of the employees were friendly and knowledgeable.
